Funke Akindele, the producer of Behind the Scene (BTS), has recently announced an ambassador deal with Moniepoint's UK and Ireland fintech app, Monieworld. The brand ambassador-partnership is for the purpose of promoting cross-border financial transactions, and unveil Monieworld as the reliable and trustworthy company that can handle that for Nigerians in the diasporas.
MonieWorld wants to highlight how its services help users manage education costs, healthcare, business needs, and household expenses across borders, and that's why the company chose Funke Akindele because they believe that her career and influence span both local and international audiences, which aligns with the platform’s target market of Nigerians living abroad.
She said: “What makes this partnership meaningful is our shared understanding of what it means to build something that serves people, making a positive impact in the lives of Nigerians in the Diaspora. It’s all about the freedom to build your life, wherever you are and this aspiration resonates with my own journey and the stories I tell.”
However, it's important to let you know that the transaction of the ambassador is not revealed by both parties. But according to Moniepoint CEO, Tosin Eniolorunda, the partnership highlights principles like consistency, credibility, and a strong connection to community as reasons Akindele is a fitting ambassador.
